CNSI Nanoscience Lab Summer Institute는 U of California Los Angeles에서 주관하고 진행되며, Session A&,B,로 나누어 진행된다. 이 워크샾은 10,11,12학년이 지원할수 있으며, 과학 credit을 획득 할 수 있는 좋은 기회이자, 과학과 테크놀러지에 흥미가 있는 학생이라면 적극 추천하고 싶다.
각 세션은 5일 동안 진행되며, UCLA researchers의 의해 연구된 과제와 실험을 한다.
매년 7월 첫주 6일경에 시작된다.
프로그램
Introductory science courses such as biology, chemistry, earth science, environmental science, and physics are recommended. The activities in the NanoScience Lab Summer Institute require a strong science foundation in chemistry, physics, and biology.
The program is designed for students going into 10th grade level or higher next school year.
지원자 CHECKLIST
Admission to the program is by instructor consent. As part of the registration process, applicants will be asked to submit short responses to the following two questions:
In no more than 250 words: What interests you in science (or technology) and how will participation in this program help you achieve your academic and personal goals?
In no more than 125 words: How did you hear about nanoscience and nanotechnology and what is your current understanding of this topic?
