Send Official Test Scores
SAT or ACT?
The University of Washington accepts the SAT and ACT equally. There is absolutely no advantage in submitting one test over the other. We recommend that students submit all test scores from SAT and ACT. If an applicant submits scores from both tests, national concordance tables determine which scores are relatively higher.

Transcripts?
Do not send transcripts when you apply.

Honors Program
Apply simultaneously to Honors and to the UW. The deadlines are the same, but additional documents are required.

English Language Proficiency
All new freshman and transfer students must satisfy an English language proficiency requirement upon enrolling at the Seattle campus of the University of Washington.
