Applying
When applying to University of Missouri, it's important to note the application deadline is rolling. The application fee at University of Missouri is $50. Scores for either the ACT or SAT test are due 01-MAY-15. It is more selective, with an acceptance rate of 77.7 percent.

Earn one of the following test scores:
an ACT composite score of at least a 24 OR an SAT score (*redesigned exam) of at least an 1160 

College Credits : Mizzou accepts the following types of course credit:
Advanced Placement (AP)
International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma and certificates
College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
Departmental Examination
Dual Credit


High School Coursework
You must complete a minimum of 17 units (one unit = one year) of the following coursework:
English: 4 Units / Fine Arts: 1 Unit / Foreign Language: 2 Unit / Mathematics: 4 Units
Science: 3 Units / Social Studies: 3 Units


Minimum Scores
You must earn the minimum required score on either the HiSET or GED exam in order to be eligible for admission into Mizzou. If your state uses the:
HiSET exam to determine high school equivalency, you must score at least a 15 on each of the five sections of the exam.
GED exam to determine high school equivalency, you must score at least a 500 on each of the five sections of the exam.

Admission Requirements

If you do not earn a composite score of at least 24 on the ACT or an 1160 (*redesigned exam) or combined 1090 (pre-March 2016 exam) combined critical reading and math score, your admission is determined by the sliding scales for ranking and non-ranking high schools below.
