버몬트 대학교 SAT.ACT 평균 점수대와 입시분석

안녕하세요. 오늘 하루 잘 지내셨나요?
오늘 저는 도서관에 몇 권의 책을 Hold해 놔서 찾으러 갔었는데, 마침 Autism kids summer camp (자폐아이들 썸머 캠프)로 도서관을 방문한 아이들을 보게 되었습니다. 도서관에 갈 때마다 가끔씩 자폐 아이들이 선생님 인솔하에 도서관에서 책도 보고, 컴퓨터를 하는 모습을 보곤 했는데, 오늘은 밝은 하늘색 티셔츠에 Staff라고 쓰여있는 맞춤 티셔츠를 입은 어린 남학생 여학생들이 2인 1조로 해서 아이들을 데리고 왔더라고요. 딱 보기에도 고등학생 아이들이 여름방학을 맞아 자원봉사를 하는 것 같았는데, 아니나 다를까 고등학생 자원봉사자들이냐고 물어보니 맞다고 하더라고요.
한명, 혹은 두명의 학생들이 자폐 아이 한 명을 맡아서 책을 읽어주거나, 놀아주는 모습 속에, 아이들을 진심으로 대하는 예쁜 사랑의 마음이 저의 가슴까지 전해져 뭉클했습니다.
백인, 아시아인, 흑인.. 인종은 달라도 우리가 가지고 있는 인류애... 학생들이기에 더욱 순수하고 불꽃같은 따듯한 마음이 너무 예뻤습니다.

대학을 지원하기 위해서 일부러 해야 하는 자원봉사가 아닌, 마음으로 우러러 나오는 그런 자원봉사는 본인의 가치관과 세계관을 변화시킬 수 있는 그런 멋진 일이 아닐까 생각해 보는 하루였습니다.

오늘 찰스 온라인 클리닉에서는 2017 미국 대학 랭킹 92위의 버몬트 대학의 대한 입학 SAT.ACT 점수대와 총체적인 입학 분석을 해 보는 시간을 가져 보도록 하겠습니다. ^^

먼저 2017 이 대학의 입학 평균 SAT점수대는 1100 - 1290, (SAT EBRW: 600-690, SAT Math: 590-680), ACT점수대는 27- 32점 입니다. 또한 토플을 준비하는 학생은 iBT 최소 90점을 요구 하고 있습니다.

평균 GPA는 3.53 이며, 합격률은 71%를 보이고 있습니다. 즉 100명 지원시 71명이 합격하는 비율을 보이고 있습니다.

Submission of SAT scores from exams that followed the old format will continue to be accepted.

The optional essay section of the redesigned SAT exam will be recommended, but not required.

For ACT test takers, the optional writing section will be recommended, but no longer required.

As the redesigned SAT exam has significant differences from the current exam, a numerical score on the redesigned exam may not be equivalent to the same score on the current exam. Therefore, Stony Brook will not combine section scores (super-score) across the current and redesigned SAT.

Stony Brook will super-score section scores taken from multiple sittings of the same SAT exam format.

Students who take the SAT exam in both in the current and redesigned format are welcomed to submit both sets of scores; these will be reviewed separately.
