텍사스 대학교 오스틴 지원 에세이는 최소 2개의 에세이를 준비 해야 합니다.

에세이 주제 A - W

Topic A   

What was the environment in which you were raised? Describe your family, home, neighborhood or community, and explain how it has shaped you as a person.

Topic B

Most students have an identity, an interest or a talent that defines them in an essential way. Tell us about yourself.

Topic C

You’ve got a ticket in your hand—Where will you go? What will you do? What will happen when you get there?

Topic D

Personal interaction with objects, images and spaces can be so powerful as to change the way one thinks about particular issues or topics. For your intended area of study (architecture, art history, design, studio art, visual art studies/art education), describe an experience where instruction in that area or your personal interaction with an object, image or space effected this type of change in your thinking. What did you do to act upon your new thinking and what have you done to prepare yourself for further study in this area?

Topic N

Considering nursing as your first-choice major, discuss how your current and future academic activities, extracurricular pursuits and life experiences will help you achieve your goals.

Topic S

There may be personal information that you want considered as part of your admissions application. Write an essay describing that information. You might include exceptional hardships, challenges, or opportunities that have shaped or impacted your abilities or academic credentials, personal responsibilities, exceptional achievements or talents, educational goals, or ways in which you might contribute to an institution committed to creating a diverse learning environment.

Topic W

Discuss the reasons you chose social work as your first-choice major and how a social work degree from UT Austin will prepare you for the future.

What’s Required

All applicants must submit an essay responding to Topic A, along with a second essay addressing topic B, C, D, N, S or W.

Topic S, used to detail special circumstances you want considered as part of your admissions application, may be submitted as a second essay, or as a third essay if you are required to submit an essay in response to Topic D, N or W due to the major you selected. You may also submit it as a third essay at your discretion.

코스웍 요구사항 

Language Arts (4 Credits)

English I and II for Speakers of Other Languages (SOL) may be substituted for English I and II only for students with limited English proficiency; SOL courses may not be used to substitute for English III or IV.

One of the four courses may be focused on writing, world literature, speech, communication applications or journalism.

Mathematics (4 Credits) 

All courses should be at the level of Algebra I or higher; one course should be Algebra II (or a course equivalent or more advanced in content and rigor).

Informal geometry and pre-algebra are below-achievement-level courses and may not be counted toward the mathematics requirement; they may be counted as electives (see below).

Science (4 Credits)

One course in biology and two in physics and chemistry are suggested.

Social Studies (4 Credits)

Select from anthropology, area studies, ethnic studies, economics (with emphasis on the free enterprise system), geography, government (civics), philosophy, social science, psychology, sociology, Texas history, U.S. history, world history and work/study programs.

Foreign Language (2 Credits)

Both credits should be related to the study of a single foreign language.

For purposes of the requirement, American Sign Language and computer science are considered foreign languages.

Physical Education (1 Credit)

Any general physical education course counts, as do the following: drill team, marching band, cheerleading, ROTC, athletics, dance, approved private programs, and certain career and technical education courses.

Fine Arts (1 Credit)

Theatre arts, art, music or dance are strongly recommended.

Electives (6 Credits)

Students are encouraged to take demanding coursework, going

안녕하세요. 초여름 잘 지내고 계시나요? 
오늘 포스팅은 뉴욕 주립대학교 알바니 캠퍼스에 대한 입학 평균 SAT. ACT. 토플. GPA 등 지원 요강에 대해 올려 봅니다. 뉴욕 주립대학교에 대한 랭킹을 살펴보면 2017 U.S News 선정 미국 전체 랭킹 146위, 공립 대학 랭킹 74위, 비즈니스 프로그램 114위에 랭크되어있는 대학입니다. 또한 유학생이 많이 가는 대학으로 U.S News 통계로 알려지기도 했습니다. 이 대학을 지원하려면 어느 정도의 점수가 필요하고 준비해야 하는지 시원하게 알아보겠습니다.
